Collecting breechings combine 2 water feeds. Dividing breechings split single lines into 2. Inlets are usually 2 1/2" male inst. and outlets 2 1/2" female inst. to suit standard inst. couplings. Female outlets are fitted with a single twist release knob operating a spring operated plunger. 2 1/2" female outlets have double pull release. Both breechings may be fitted with a rotary valve to control the flow. Dividing breechings only are available with gate valves.
